| Plg

Plasminogen（Plg） is an abundant plasma protein that exists in various zymogenic forms. Plasmin, the proteolytically active form of plasminogen, is known for its essential role in fibrinolysis. Plasminogen contains seven structural units or 'domains', each of which confer specific properties on the molecule. Plasminogen also exists in 2 forms: glu-plasminogen (mature form) that predominates in plasma and lys-plasminogen, which is transiently formed after removal of the first 77 aa by plasmin.

| Recovery

The recovery of Rat Plg spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Rat Plg and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
