| GPX4

Glutathione peroxidase 4, also known as GPX4, is an enzyme that is encoded by the GPX4 gene.GPX4 is a phospholipid hydroperoxidase that protects cells against membrane lipid peroxidation.GPX4 was first discovered in biochemistry laboratories of the University of Padua, where it was described as an enzyme capable of protecting against peroxidation. Its role as an inhibitor of cellular death was only discovered in 2012 by a research group Columbia University.

The recovery of Mouse GPX4 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Mouse GPX4 and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
