Splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 4 is a protein that is encoded by the SFRS4 gene.Enables RNA binding activity. Involved in negative regulation of mRNA splicing, via spliceosome. Located in nuclear speck. Biomarker of Down syndrome; acute myeloid leukemia; clear cell renal cell carcinoma; and colon adenocarcinoma.Diseases associated with SRSF4 include Colon Adenocarcinoma and Dementia. Among its related pathways are Processing of Capped Intron-Containing Pre-mRNA and Transport of Mature Transcript to Cytoplasm.
