Polycomb Group Ring Finger Protein 4 (PCGF4) is a protein that is encoded by the BMI1 gene (B cell-specific Moloney murine leukemia virus integration site 1).[3][4] PCGF4 is a polycomb ring finger oncogene.PCGF4(BMI1(B lymphoma Mo-MLV insertion region 1 homolog))has been reported as an oncogene by regulating p16 and p19, which are cell cycle inhibitor genes.PCGF4 is necessary for efficient self-renewing cell divisions of adult hematopoietic stem cells as well as adult peripheral and central nervous system neural stem cells. PCGF4 is also thought to inhibit ageing in neurons through the suppression of p53.The PCGF4 protein interacts with several signaling pathways containing Wnt, Akt, Notch, Hedgehog and receptor tyrosine kinases (RTK).| Typical data
As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.| Concentration (ng/mL) | 20 | 10 | 5 | 2.5 | 1.25 | 0.625 | 0.312 | 0 |

| Repeatability
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%| Recovery
The recovery of Human PCGF4 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.| Sample Type | Range(%) | Average Recovery(%) |
