QSOX2 is a member of the sulfhydryl oxidase/quiescin-6 (Q6) family (QSOX1) that regulates the sensitization of neuroblastoma cells for IFN-gamma induced cell death.Catalyzes the oxidation of sulfhydryl groups in peptide and protein thiols to disulfides with the reduction of oxygen to hydrogen peroxide.Diseases associated with QSOX2 include Neuroblastoma and Deafness, Autosomal Recessive 33.
