| IGFBP-4

Insulin-like growth factor binding protein 4 is a protein encoded by the IGFBP4 gene. This gene is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family and has proteins in the IGFBP domain and thyroglobulin type I domain. This protein binds to insulin-like growth factor (IGF) I and II and circulates in plasma in both glycosylated and non-glycosylated forms. Binding of this protein prolongs the half-life of IGFs and alters their interaction with receptors on the cell surface.

The recovery of Human IGFBP-4 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human IGFBP-4 and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
