| GREM2

Gremlin-2 protein, also known as GREM2, is a protein encoded by the GREM2 gene. It is a strong bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) antagonist known to regulate BMP in embryogenesis and tissue development. Cytokines inhibit the activity of BMP2 and BMP4 in a dose-dependent manner, thereby regulating signaling among members of the BMP family. It helps regulate embryonic morphogenesis through BMP family members.
