| Anti-Semaglutide Antibody

Semaglutide is an antidiabetic medication used to treat type 2 diabetes and an anti-obesity drug for long-term weight management. It is a peptide similar to the hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) with side-chain modifications. It can be administered subcutaneously or orally. Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA). The drug reduces blood glucose levels. Theoretically, this reduction is caused by the simulation of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), an incretin hormone. It also appears to promote the growth of pancreatic beta cells, which are responsible for insulin production and release.
