| FRAAs

The folate receptor is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-coupling protein. Except for certain tissues, folate receptor expression levels are low in normal tissues but overexpressed on the surface of many tumor cells. The folate receptor exhibits high affinity for folate and its derivatives. Leveraging this property, imaging agents, therapeutic drugs, and other molecules can be conjugated to folate for targeted delivery to tumor cells. This enables applications in tumor imaging diagnostics—such as nuclear medicine imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and fluorescence imaging—as well as tumor therapies including chemotherapy, isotope therapy, immunotherapy, antisense nucleic acid therapy, and gene therapy.

As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. | Recovery

The recovery of Human FRAAs spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity
