| Brucella-IgM

Brucella is a genus of Gram-negative bacteria,[2][3] named after David Bruce (1855–1931). They are small (0.5 to 0.7 by 0.6 to 1.5 μm), non-encapsulated, non-motile,facultatively intracellular coccobacilli.Brucella spp. are the cause of brucellosis, which is a zoonosis transmitted by ingesting contaminated food (such as unpasteurized milk products), direct contact with an infected animal, or inhalation of aerosols.

As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. | Recovery

The recovery of Human Brucella-IgM spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
 

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human Brucella-IgM and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
