| TP-Ab

Treponema pallidum antibodies are specific immunoglobulins produced after Treponema pallidum infection, including two types: ‌ non-specific antibodies (reactants) ‌ and ‌ specific antibodies ‌, which are used for the serological diagnosis of syphilis.Treponema pallidum is a microaerophilic, gram-negative, spirochaete bacterium with subspecies.T. pallidum can enter the host through mucosal membranes or open lesions in the skin and is primarily spread through sexual contact.
