Product Datasheets
| Brucella-IgG
Brucella are Gram-negative bacteria causing brucellosis, a zoonotic disease transmitted through contaminated dairy or animal contact. Major species (B. melitensis, B. abortus, B. suis, B. canis) infect livestock, with humans developing fever, arthritis, and organ complications. These intracellular pathogens evade immunity by surviving in macrophages using virulence factors like T4SS and S-LPS. Diagnosis involves serology (ELISA, Rose Bengal test) or PCR. Prevention combines animal vaccination (e.g., RB51 strain) and human antibiotic therapy (doxycycline/rifampin). Their zoonotic and biodefense significance demands strict biocontainment.| Typical data
As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.
| Repeatability
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%| Recovery
The recovery of Human Brucella-IgG spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.| Linearity
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human Brucella-IgG and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
