| Vancomycin

Vancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic medication used to treat certain bacterial infections.It is administered intravenously (injection into a vein) to treat complicated skin infections, bloodstream infections, endocarditis, bone and joint infections, and meningitis caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.Vancomycin is indicated for the treatment of serious, life-threatening infections by Gram-positive bacteria of both aerobic and anaerobic types that are unresponsive to other antibiotics.Vancomycin biosynthesis occurs primarily via three nonribosomal protein synthases (NRPSs) VpsA, VpsB, and VpsC.

The recovery of Vancomycin spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity
