| Fumonisins

The fumonisins are a group of mycotoxins derived from Fusarium and their Liseola section.[1] They have strong structural similarity to sphinganine, the backbone precursor of sphingolipids.As the fumonisins appear to be non-genotoxic the possibility that they belong to another class of non-genotoxic carcinogens, the peroxisome proliferators, was investigated

| Recovery

The recovery of Fumonisins spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Fumonisins and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
